Last weekend, a friend of ours invited us to go up to Keswick with him, his wife and another couple. A couple of couples you could say. I know some of you will be like 'but there were three couples!', well the colloquialism 'a couple of' means 'a few'. Not just two. So says Cambridge and they would know because they invented English. SO IN YOUR FACE!
Anyway, I digress. The trip went well in spite of the cold wet weather. Or was improved by it? It did mean that we could stay in during the evening and have a wood fire and toast marshmallows!! nom nom nom!! It wasn't all eating, drinking and laying about though. We went for a stroll through the town and watched a few movies... OK so movie watching doesn't really count as 'not laying about' but all in all it was a welcome relaxing weekend AND I got some nice pics, fisheye included!
